29 June : The Thomas Easton

After a really great gig at The Barleycorn last month (if I say so myself), with such a beautiful synergy between me and the audience, I brave the stage of The Thomas Easton. I know I'm in good hands, with the attentive owner/ music lover behind the sound desk, as I played there before last year, with my old guitar Juanita.

With my new guitar, I am really looking forward to the sonic treat, as I have found the new pickup a dream (let alone the responsiveness of the guitar). Here is their facebook event page

8 May - The Barleycorn Music Club

Yay, I'm very happy to be back on the stage at the....

So, this will be my THIRD time playing at the Barleycorn. The first was when I got my lovely new guitar (for my happy birthday to myself)

As much as I love this guitar (it's really amazing), this time I will be playing another new guitar (the beautiful Miguel Almeria I got last year). Testing it out last week I can definitely say it is a pleasure to play!

26 April - Alma Cafe Showcase

So, getting back into performing again this year (better late than never). Starting off nice and comfortable, down the road, at Alma Cafe!

I'll be taking my Miguel along, who's new pick-up is pretty damn powerful! So, I guess it's a change from my subtle "in-the-background" volume of Juanita, and now very much more "in-your-face". The change is good. Scary, but good.
